I live in Cincinnati now, and have for 25 years. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the sauce tasted exactly the same as it did when I was growing up! The staff were also very pleasant! The food was STILL amazing

This is still one of my favorite pizza places to frequent even after not living in New Philadelphia for almost 20 years. Cash or check only. Every pizza establishment I've been to with those options have been top tier good and Mary Zifer's is in the the top tier of that top tier. I miss it already!

The inside is literally pickup and go so atmosphere is low for that. But absolutely best pizza around! Only the NP Mary Zifers NOT DOVER!!! I wish they would make the large bigger though it is like a medium at the other places in comparison.

Food was quick, delicious, and unique. The sauce is flavorful with a delightfully crunchy thick crust, the ingredients seemed fresh, and the cheddar cheese really did make it. I'm so glad we didn't ask if they had mozzarella. Staff was nice, service was quick, and this is clearly a popular place, because they had a steady stream of customers while we waited for our pizza, and it wasn't too long before closing.
